Comments on the Military and Business Ownership...I was in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1972, and I was in Vietnam with the 101st Airborne (1967-1968) with a combat MOS. I knew that if I reenlisted I would end up back in Nam. For the next 25 years, I was in Sales and Finance. I got burned out of that. I wanted to do something outdoors. The Army gave me the courage to go out on my own and start a business for myself.
