Comments on the Military and Business Ownership
At a young age, my father deceased. My brother and I, with my mother's help, started a grocery store business in Birmingham, AL while I was still in high school. This started my career as an entrepreneur. My brother was then drafted for the army along with most all the other men around me. I would see them come back from war with injuries which encouraged me to want to be a part of the Army. I then volunteered for the Army. After some field experiences, I started my own business.
