Veterans Retreat of Asheville is a peaceful destination for Veterans who are about to or who have mobilized/deployed. We offer these Veterans and their loved one/significant other a time to connect/reconnect with each other without charge.
We believe there is healing in nature. Nothing is more calming than connecting with God through nature. God gave us eyes to see the beauty in nature, and the hearts to see the beauty in each other.
When Bronze Star recipient Ralph Gall, a Veteran of two wars [Iraq - Afghanistan] and four combat zone deployments, returned home from his last tour in 2013, he was blessed to have been given the opportunity to procure a little slice of heaven. This land contributed greatly to his healing and allowed time to decompress.
